We now have concert streaming technology if you can't make it out to the shows.  We will be testing this on other shows until Jan. 3rd, when Monday nights go live.  Wanna see yourself on the broadcasts?  Come to the shows!

Writing to Specs. What the?

Today I saw an ad on Craigslist where a guy was pimping his songwriting.  No doubt a "Nashville Country" type of person.  He claims to be able to write a song to your specifications.  Where is the fun in that?  To me that is like handing a blank canvas to a house painter and expecting a masterpiece.  Get real.  Most songwriters that I know talk about what they were feeling or going through when they wrote a particular song, this guys talking about specifications.  How much more cookie cutter can it get?  Bah!  This is why I love punk rock. 

Punk Bands Needed!

My band, The Scary Mondelos, will be playing at Headhunters this Saturday night the 18th.  You better believe we're gonna have Christmas presents to give away!  Last show before the Holidays.

If you wanna drop off a demo for our punk nights starting next year, come on down and give it to Angie from The Beat Dolls or ask for me by name...Ramon.  Like I said before, we need a ton of punk bands for these.  See you guys at the show!

Monday nights at Red Eyed Fly!

Starting in January, Little Plastic Records will be putting on monday night punk shows at Red Eyed Fly's inside lounge area.

It will be 21 and up(for now), no cover, 3 or 4 punk bands, 8-midnight, Lots of giveaways, door prizes, and bar Olympics between bands. Ever heard of the game Lightning Reaction?  We will have it and give away prizes to the winners.  KAOS Radio!

This is our chance to build the scene back up and have fun in the process.  We're starting on Monday nights because you have to start somewhere, but who knows where we go from there.  We have 5 Monday nights to make this work, so we'll be needing some bands.  If you're interested, leave a comment or email us.
